Suggestion Guidelines

1 post in this topic

Hey there!

We here at [IGF] love suggestions, we love feedback, we love constructive criticism. We strongly encourage everyone to come up with new and interesting ideas to continually help improve our community and gaming environment. Without your suggestions, we may not know exactly what you're all looking for, which is - in my eyes - problematic! The Community Management Team heavily relies on you, the players, for suggestions, feedback, and more. The International Gamers Federation is your community, so we want to make sure you've got a voice and that everyone is heard. This is your place to help come up with ideas and collaborate with other members to create something awesome.

There is no general format for submitting suggestions, but when writing your suggestions, please consider the following:

  1. Is your suggestion 'realistic enough' to be able to be successfully implemented in a growing online community?
    • Unfortunately we still have limited resources - can your idea be implemented with a smaller development and administrative team?
    • If your idea includes purchasing additional services or assets, is it feasible financially?
  2. Will your suggestion benefit the community as a whole or a select group of players?
  3. Can old and new players alike benefit from your suggestion?
  4. Has this idea been suggested before? What improvements or changes have you made to this suggestion?
  5. Does your idea fit within our current set of rules, or would there need to be some adaptations?

Some things to remember:

  • Please ensure you indicate in the thread title which service your idea is geared toward.
    • A3LR, Exile, Teamspeak, Discord, Community wide, etc.
  • This section is not for feedback, think of it as taking that next step as a remedy to the feedback. Please use this section for feedback and submit it under the correct thread.
  • The more details you include, the better. Pictures, diagrams, videos, and more are all great ways to convey your ideas. This can create more meaningful and progressive discussion which will likely produce better results.
  • Be as clear and concise as you can be. Make sure you're doing everything you can think of to convey your suggestion, it makes it a lot easier to understand and discuss.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Please keep all discussion constructive and respectful. If you disagree with what someone has said, that is totally fine, but there is no need or excuse to berate them or their ideas; there is plenty of opportunity to create constructive discussion and respectful debate. Threads or replies flaming or disrespecting other's ideas will be immediately taken down and disciplinary action may be taken.

If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please let us know below! :)

Have a great day, I look forward to reading your suggestions ❤️
